Knee surgery is a problem facing 400,000 people every year in the U.S., with numbers expected to continue to skyrocket as baby boomers age. Saint Francis Memorial Hospital’s Total Joint Center is one of the first medical institutions to offer navigational knee surgery, a procedure utilizing an array of GPS technology designed to improve the precision and outcome of surgeries.
